Hi! I’m always really excited this time of year when I start to see things (finally!)begin to grow. It’s a definite sign that our long and cold winter is loosening its grips in our area. (I’m really jealous of those folks in California who have been posting spring blossom pictures on flickr for the past month…)

I noticed that my parents neighbors tulips and daffodils were beginning to grow and that made me really happy. Soooo happy, in fact, that when I arrived back home, I planned out when I was going back to the Botanic Garden to begin my annual stalking of the tulips and other spring blooms (next weekend!) and I shopped for Spring Green related items on etsy. These are my fabulous Spring Green inspired finds– I hope you enjoy!

We’re planning special Valentine’s Day themed emails to send to our customers and folks are talking about what they’re buying for their significant other. Someone even brought in cute heart shaped marshmallows (they are pretty tasty!)

Happy Friday!
I posted a new greeting card set in my shop today– gorgeous hydrangeas! It’s a set of three greeting cards and that features three different photos of springtime hydrangeas. These photos were taken last spring at the Garfield Park Conservatory. The photos are adhered to white cardstock, and include a matching white envelope for mailing. (Personally, I think these would look lovely framed!)

Hydrangea Greeting Cards- Set of 3

You can find these greeting cards (and more!) in my Art Fire shop

as well as in my etsy shop

love it? hate it? let me know what you think!!!!

I could always cut down on my time spent in front of the computer hitting “refresh.”

I found another really awesome place to see my cards, prints, paintings, and various other creations– it’s a brand-new place called Art Fire. I really really like it. It’s really good looking, they are eco-conscious, they offer a fabulous rate if you sign up as a verified seller/member now (seriously, it’s at least a third of what i pay at etsy…) and it has great features that etsy lacks (visibility to shop stats is first that comes to mind…) I’m really hoping that this site takes off and is just as successful as etsy. You should check it out…
