This week’s Photo Friday theme is “Ride.”

I took this shot at Septemberfest in Schaumburg, IL. this past year. It totally reminds me of going to carnivals with my sister when I was young and how I was afraid of the rides (especially the fun slide…) Fast forward 20+ years and I can’t get enough of carnival rides and roller coasters– the scarier, the better!!!

debs and her beautiful baby bump!!!

This weekend was really nice and quiet. I got to paint a bit Friday night– I’m almost finished with 3 paintings! All that’s left is painting the final edges. I should be able to knock those out next weekend (yay!!) Saturday my friends, Debs and G, came over for dinner and games. I successfully made dinner that everyone enjoyed (chicken tortellini with roasted garlic sauce and broccoli) and made an incredible pumpkin cheesecake (recipe here). Dinner was good, games were fun, and company was awesome!!!

I was even lucky enough to have impromptu photoshoot with Debs! I am sooo looking forward to the real baby belly photoshoot next weekend! This is a first for me– I’ve never done maternity photos– I’m freaking out a little…any momma’s out there with a favorite type of maternity photo that you’ve had, or maybe that you saw? Any help would be appreciated!
